My Journey
My path to The Pink Petal has been a beautiful evolution of heart and purpose. Before finding my true calling in beauty, I spent 20 years in retail and finance, while pursuing college studies in psychology and theology—fields that deeply shaped my appreciation for human connection. As a first-generation American with family roots in Nicaragua, I am proudly bilingual in Spanish and English, bringing the warmth and inclusivity of my heritage to every client I serve.
At 38, while raising my two children—Genesis, who is now pursuing her degree at JMU, and Gio, my teen and rising high school senior—I chose to follow my heart and enter cosmetology school. It was there that I discovered my absolute purpose and passion. Today, I am honored to use my craft to ensure every person who walks through my door feels truly seen, radiant, and celebrated.
